Life Before the Mouse Tour

Mention Kissimmee, FL to most folks around the country -- even the world for that matter -- and you’ll likely hear that it’s home to Disney World. Mention Kissimmee to someone in the cattle business and you’ll hear a whole different story.
The truth of the matter is that Kissimmee was built on cattle. Cowboys, rodeos, and cattle ranching are the threads that have woven the area’s rich heritage into a unique and colorful canvas. Other elements of the area’s history include steam boating, sugar cane and citrus.
This suggested itinerary will give visitors a new insight and appreciation for an area whose rich history has been overshadowed by a mouse.
